Quality equipment
We build on reputable vendors — Arista, Juniper — to keep interruptions low and speeds high.
About LocalPref
An ISP named after a routing decision.
Local preference is how a network chooses its best path. We liked the idea enough to name the company after it — and to run the network the same way.
Who we are
Performance-first, Australian-built.
LocalPref is an Australian internet provider focused on performance and quality — for households that just want things to work, and for businesses that can't afford anything less.
We believe everyone should have access to reasonably priced internet. That's why we deliver fast, reliable connections at honest prices across the NBN network — with typical evening speeds published on every plan, and no lock-in contracts.
How we work
Three things we refuse to compromise on.
02
Quality internet
Pick paths that minimise latency and hops. No taking the scenic route with your internet.
03
Quality service
A repeatable, high-standard service backed by real infrastructure — and engineers who know their stuff.
